Panel squaring unit: Enclosed in automatic opening safety cages. Unit of board reaches this station and pneumatic pressure is applied to one side, squaring the boards against opposing straight side. Feeds to:
W-182 Cross Transfer / Panel Pusher: Overhead gantry transports (2) pusher stations moving the top piece of the bunk to the left onto receiving conveyor. Cogbelt moves the pushers along the upper gantry. Automatically indexing scissorlift with electric eye raises the bunk so each individual sheet is removed. Control panel allows manual or automatic control of process. Receiving conveyor moves the panel forward, maintaining original linear direction of process. Feeds to:
WALTER TILLEKE Panel Cleaner: Single brush cleaner with dual exhaust vents above. Driven rollers underneath brush moves panel through machine. Nip rollers hold panel in place as cleaning brush moves against the direction of the panel. Single wheel with digital readout adjusts height. Feeds to:
HYMMEN ( KLM - Z ):
63" Width cap., 4-roll Top & Bottom Glue Spreader, capable of running hot or cold liquid through doctor roll for 2-part or heat activated adhesives, right hand operating side; 3-7/8" max. opening, upper elevator opening.
11-1/4" Dia. smooth rubber applicator rollers (for caustic adhesives), 10-7/8" dia. rubber coated doctor rollers; applicator rolls driven with individual infinitely variable direct drive motor & gear box units, variable speed 25 - 130 FPM, locator rolls with individual direct drive motor & gear box units.
Single end handwheel for doctor roll adjustment, automatic oscillating roller cleaning unit with spray nozzle system and lower out feed disc type panel support rollers.
WEMHONER ( W-86 ) Knife Roller Conveyor:
67" x 151" L Minimum contact roller conveyor with (21) rollers holding (7) 6" dia. knives each. Knife edge rollers are staggered along conveyor transfers the sheet to the next station will minimal contact to the bottom of the panel (wet glue on panel). 1 HP Drive motor and electric eye sensing panel.

WEMHONER ( W-195 ): Automated Index Station:
Vaccum lift brings veneer overlay above substrate for even transfer. Overhead gantry carries a aluminum frame with (7) vacuum pods, the frame pneumatically drops down to pickup veneer, moves over substrate and drops down then releases veneer onto substrate. Gantry moves the veneer perpendicular to line moving left to right.
Dual unwind stations for roll paper, PVC or vinyl for the back of the panel (bottom of substrate). Pivoting edge trimmers cleans edges of veneer before pressing.
WEMHONER ( KT V 1E ) Double Opening Press:
Upper and lower presses with shifting infeed conveyor, alternating feed to each press and doubling feed speed.

Individually controlled pressure cylinders enable variable and optimum use of the pressing area and can be used with any production format.
Separate temperature control system for the upper and lower heating plate enables simultaneous lamination of two different surface materials. Equipped with a glue application device for a quick switch between UF and PVAc glues.

2003 HEATEC ( HCI-175 ) Boiler
thermal fluid heater is an industrial heater commonly used in closed-loop thermal fluid heat transfer systems. The heater is designed around a helical coil. Thermal fluid flows through the helical coil, gaining radiant and convective heat from hot burner gases. The heated thermal fluid then transfers heat to end users such as tanks, presses, dryers, reactors, chillers, extruders, steam generators, or other equipment. The heater's two-pass design provides high efficiency, simplicity and low maintenance. Heating coils meet ASME code.
JENKINS Double End Tenoner:
96" Motorized opening with automatic positioning with keypad & LED readout, 4-5/8" min. (outside-to-outside of chains), 48" infeed layup area in front of holddowns, left-hand traverse, 2-post machine.
Each side equipped with - 1st Station: Trim/hog head, 10 HP - 3,600 RPM motor, 1-3/4" dia. x 5" long arbor.
2nd Station left-hand side: 12" Stackable CNC cope head, automatic vertical positioning with a 6-position cam set-limit switch assembly, horizontal positioning with precision ball screw & microprocessor control for arched panels & top rails, self-centering abilities for precision placement of the arch to the center of the panels or rails, 10 HP - 6,000 RPM high speed belt driven arbor, 1-1/2" dia. x 12" long.
2nd Station left-hand side: 12" Stackable cope head, compound slide with vertical & horizontal adjustment, horizontal adjustment with gear motor & adjustment screw, vertical adjustment with gear motor & adjustment screw, both horiz. & vert. axes with a 6-position cam set-limit switch assembly for automatic positioning, anti-splintering block & arbor, air jump actuated as cutterhead exits to reduce tearout, 10 HP - 6,000 RPM belt driven arbor, 1-1/2" dia. x 12" long arbor.
3rd Station right-hand side: 12" Stackable cope & cathedral shaper, cam follower type with bearing on arbor for cathedral shaping, a pre-shaped pattern goes thru the machine for cathedral shapes, 7-3/4" horizontal travel on bearing guides & air cylinder tensioning, automatic vertical positioning with gear motor and 6-position cam set-limit switch, anti-splintering block & arbor, air jump actuated as cutterhead exits to reduce tearout, 10 HP - 6,000 RPM belt driven arbor, 1-1/2" dia. x 12" long arbor.
Variable feed drive, 5 HP AC frequency drive 7 - 42 FPM, non-driven caterpillar type overhead holddowns with over-thickness safety limit switches on infeed, manual thickness opening with mechanical ruled scale, deep V-track design with bronze alloy track & replaceable phenolic (Spauldite) track inserts, 4" pitch chain with pop-up dogs on 16" centers, automatic chain lubrication.
Outfeed conveyor with inspection station.
