Used NEWMAN KN-1 Single Head Notcher for pallet Stringers.

The cutterhead is V-belt driven by a 15 HP (11.18kw) 1800 RPM TEFC motor.

The cutterhead is actuated with a foot pedal controlled air over oil system, providing smooth raising and lowering of the cutterhead assembly.

The dado style cutterhead is 12" (304.8mm) diameter x 10.5" (267mm) wide with either 1/2" or 1½" radius cutters.

Mechanical stops are provided for convenient setting of the notch spacing. Depth of cut is variable from 2" (50.8mm) to 0. The standard hardwood worktable is 72" x 8" (2m x 203mm).

Heavily constructed and will provide years of trouble-free operation. It is the sensible notcher for small to medium pallet operations and specialty shops.

Notching Head:

15 HP, 1800 RPM, TEFC motor, with magnetic starter, installed.

Feed:

Air over oil cutterhead actuation with foot pedal control.

Cutterhead:

12" diameter x 10½" wide carbide tipped dado head utilizing ½" sections.

Mounted on 2¼" arbors.
