Grinds profile knives from a templete, templete sized from an optical comparitor with 20:1 magnification and 6" screen views a line drawing of the profile.

The tool post carriage has an automatic left-to-right variable feed, all the operator does is view the screen and move the cutterhead in-and-out as the carriage traverses to produce the template, this system produces templetes quickly and accurately left-to-right.
