Compo (wood paste) and hot embossing machine onto wood picture frames, mouldings, furniture and other narrow work pieces. 

Compo embossing: Wood paste is placed in a hopper using an auger it compacts the paste to a uniform consistency and applies it to the surface of the workpiece. As the workpiece advances the engraved metal wheel transfers the pattern onto the pulp.  The excess pulp on the edges are trimmed and recycled.  Once the compo is dried it can be painted, stained or lacquered. 

Hot Engraving: Pressure and engraved heated steel wheel imprints the pattern into the wood.  Equipped with a water cooled shaft to avoid flexing and keep heating on the wheel alone.  Infinite adjustable propane torch heats the metal wheel at different angles and distances changing the heat for hard and soft woods or giving different visual effects. 

Embossing wheel can be tilted for inclined embossing. Motorized support roller moves the material through the machine.  Prismatic wheel supports the workpiece while allowing various angles. An additional wheel supports the wing of uneven workpieces.  Metal support flanges and guides position the workpiece.
