After graduating college, my sales career led me to the woodworking industry as a Customer Service Representative, which lead to Outside Sales and eventually Management. Initially I worked for a local distributor selling plywood, MDF, melamine, PB, hardwood lumber, FORMICA laminate, hardware and tools. After 6 years of selling board, I spent a small amount of time selling drawer components. While selling board products I learned about the inconsistencies that woodworkers face everyday, including difficulties managing labor and problems appeasing contractors. As a result, I am driven to remove some of those inequities by selling the right machine, for the right application, in the condition it's promoted.

The last 8 years, I have successfully sold new and used woodworking machinery, working for two of the largest dealers in the U.S. I believe used machinery sales is about the details and not just getting the order. Sending the best machine available to a customer, in the condition stated, takes many steps and years of experience. I have successfully sold to woodworkers locally, regionally, nationally and internationally for many years. If you have questions concerning panel processing including laminating and finishing, don't hesitate to call.

Kurt Nansen (CNC Automation)

I started my sales career in 1969 working for a CNC Router manufacturer in the Los Angeles area. Learning the CNC industry in its infancy, I entered language on punch tape while mastering computer control hook-up. Within 7 years I bought the company and expanded its product line to include high speed spindles, and custom cnc routers. Every machine was purpose built to fit the needs of each customer.

I spent the next 25 years building custom CNC machinery for aircraft and woodworking applications. In 2001, I turned over the manufacturing part of the business and concentrated on sales and service of existing used machines. Specializing in CNC applications in the woodworking industry, my range of knowledge includes Point to Point, 5 axis & 3 axis machines and related support equipment, such as vacuum pumps.

Selling used machinery is the best opportunity to gain knowledge. Without loyalty to any one specific brand, you learn about every manufacturer, without preference. Having many years selling used computer controlled equipment, others say I am one of the most knowledgeable CNC experts in our industry. Don't buy from the salesman trying to force your application into his machine. Call the guy who knows which machine is right for you!
